Social media often gets blamed for a lot of bad in the world. And while I see a lot of negatives in social media, the one thing that keeps me coming back is inspiration from other mamas. Instagram is by far my favorite social media platform and I’ve “met” some awesome mamas from around the country who inspire me with their parenting, faith, homeschool ideas, creativity, and how they all balance it all.
I’m so happy to introduce you to one of those mamas, Rachel Reeves. She’s a homeschooling mama of three from with a passion for our country. Her IG feed is one of those feeds I never want to miss. Sometimes she’ll write things that I feel like I could have written on that same day, which is one of those awesome things that helps you feel connected with mamas you never met before in real life. She has an appreciation for all things vintage, a fierce love for Jesus and her family, and a desire to share her love of our country with others. Rachel has written and launched several e-courses for children and is releasing a new one today that I am signing my crew up for. Even if you don’t homeschool, it might be something you are interested in for your kids at home!
“The Road to 1600 Penn Ave.” is an ecourse written for children ages 7-12 (although I know as an adult I will fully learn some things)! As someone who wants to teach my kids about the election process but doesn’t want to put it altogether (and also doesn’t really feel qualified), I’m super excited for this! Despite the negativity surrounding this election, it’s important for us as adults to be positive with our children and to do our part to help them understand the process of how our elections work and the privilege we have as citizens to vote. This 10 part, e-course will be perfect to get your kids all ready for the November election! I’m super excited to sign up today!
Keep on reading to get to know Rachel a little bit more. She’s also generously offered my readers a discount code to use on the course! You can find that at the end of this post.
1. What was your inspiration behind writing this e-course as well as the other mini courses you’ve written?
