I’ve been following Shaye Elliott at her blog for some time now.
She’s funny. She keeps it real. She’s inspiring. Seriously, all those those things! If you don’t believe me, just read a few of her posts on her blog. She’s a gifted writer.
Plus, she’s a mom of four very young kids and she and her husband are farmers and while they love it, they are honest about the challenges of farm life.
She’s real, friends. It’s hard to find blogs like that sometimes.
I don’t buy cookbooks that often anymore. It’s easier to just flip through recipes online.
But sometimes that is frustrating because you don’t know much about the person who wrote the recipes unless it’s a blogger you really love. For someone like me who wants to eat real food as much as possible, I have to adapt a lot.
Also, there’s something about holding a cookbook in your hands, something that makes cooking more inspiring than staring at a screen. More personal.
I own Shaye’s first cookbook, From Scratch, in ebook form. It was part of a bundle I purchased a bit ago. It’s awesome. So many delicious recipes. All “from scratch” as the title says! Easy ingredients, real food, and very tasty. I’ve made quite a few of her recipes and enjoyed each one.
She’s releasing a new cookbook October 4th called, Family Table. I’m super excited about it. It’s going to be great! Because I’m all about shopping small and supporting mamas and fellow bloggers with products I believe in, I decided to share the launch of her cookbook with all of you.
And for those of you who are interested in trying it out, check out this amazing offer.
